Adult Literacy Resources  |  Numeracy Resources

Use “ everyday” written materials and pictures that are meaningful to adults. There are advertisements and newspapers available and many sites on the Internet including the ABC, BBC and topics of interest.

Through your local library in Queensland, you can borrow resources from the Public Library Service of the State Library. To borrow from the State Library Collections, visit your local library and request a Bulk Loan of Literacy items. Be very specific about your request, eg:
• Non reader male, 30 yr old, motorbikes
• Mid-level reader, female, 50 yr old, craft, bushwalking .
• General selection, beginner level, mixed age group, all male.
