Honouring our volunteer tutors and sharing ideas/resources for teaching adult literacy and numeracy

PROGRAM

9.00am  Registration

9.30am  Welcome, Dr Jean Searle, President Queensland Council for Adult Literacy
  
9.40am  Opening and presentation of certificates, Di Morgan, Volunteering Queensland

10.00am Volunteer tutors are invited to bring along a favourite reading, writing or numeracy strategy or learning resource to share with other tutors. An opportunity will be provided for tutors to discuss their strategies in small groups and then to present one or more to the whole group. With their permission, QCAL will then collate these strategies which will be reported in Write On and then be put on the QCAL website www.qcal.org.au
